Team, roles & permissions

Bring in people to help run your shop, like a co-owner, an assistant who builds your catalog or a friend who answers customers. Give each one a role. They sign in with their own avatar, so you never share your account.

#Which role for whom

Owner is you, the account that created the shop. That role can’t be given away or removed, and only the owner can delete the shop.

What the server enforces

Each role’s menu shows only the pages it needs, and the server checks every read and every change against the role, whatever the screen shows. Splits and Gift Cards (who gets which share, how much credit is outstanding) are owner and admin only.

#Inviting someone

1. On the webOpen TeamAdmin → Team (owner and admin). On Members, click the dashed Invite a teammate card, or Invite your first teammate while it’s just you.
2. On the webName them, pick a role, Create linkType their avatar name and press Resolve. Pick a role. The two lines under the roles say what it allows and what it doesn’t.
3. On the webSend them the linkClick Copy link and send it yourself, by IM, Discord or email. It works for 7 days, only for that avatar. On the Invitations tab you can copy it again or revoke it.

#What your invitee sees

The link opens a page that names your shop and their role. If they aren’t signed in to Plurion:

1. On the webPress Accept invitationPlurion sends a login code to their local chat.
2. In Second LifeRead the code in Second LifeThe code arrives in their local chat, valid 10 minutes.
3. On the webType it, press Confirm and joinTheir Plurion account is created on the spot, with no password and no in-world object. Your shop then appears in their Hub, under Team shops.

Already signed in as that avatar? Accept invitation joins in one tap, with Decline right next to it.

If the link doesn’t work

• “This invitation isn’t valid anymore” means it expired (7 days), was revoked, or was replaced by a newer invitation to the same avatar. Send a new one.
• “This invitation is for Robin Resident” means they’re signed in as another avatar. The page offers Sign in as Robin Resident.

#The Team page

• Members: everyone and their role. Change a role in place, or remove someone. What they did stays on record. You can’t change your own role or remove yourself.
• Invitations: invitations not yet accepted, with their expiry, Copy link, and revoke.
• Permissions: a grid of what each role opens and can do. Click a role to see its column alone.
• Activity: your team’s recent actions, limited to new codes, discounts, loyalty offers and splits, invitations sent, support replies and products mapped.
