Redelivery, online shop & permissions

In the appStore → Products → a product → Delivery and Online shop

The defaults suit most products (redelivery on, listed in your online shop, no permissions declared). You’ll mostly change them for exceptions, like a limited edition.

The three settings on a product’s page, then Save changes

The same three settings are in Quick setup, and in the bulk bar for several products at once.

Allow customer redelivery

On (the default), a buyer who lost the item can get it again for free, from their purchases in the customer hub or the Redeliver button of your online shop. Off, those buttons disappear and the online shop asks them to contact you.

Turn it off for limited editions, event exclusives, or no-copy items you don’t want handed out twice.

List in your online shop

Your online shop is where customers spend store credit, from a gift card or bought at your Plurion Terminal. On (the default), this product can be bought there. Off, it still sells on your vendors.

Products created from a DropBox item for a gacha machine start switched off, so they can’t be bought on their own.

Next owner permissions

Three boxes, Modify, Copy and Transfer, tell customers what they can do with the item. Your online shop’s product sheet shows them as ✓ Modify · ✓ Copy · ✗ No transfer. Plurion doesn’t read them from the object, so you declare them.

  • Tick the next-owner permissions of what the buyer ends up with (for a box, those of its content). Check them in the item’s Properties, in your inventory.
  • With nothing ticked, nothing is declared and the sheet shows no permissions.
  • Modify alone can’t be saved, since in Second Life the next owner always gets Copy or Transfer, or both.
